A bold, proudly South African sourdough loaf, handmade in small batches in our home kitchen, where time, care, and tradition shape every loaf. Our dough is naturally self-fermented using a traditional sourdough starter, slowly developing flavour over many hours. This patient process creates a beautifully balanced loaf with a light tang, airy crumb, and deep, wholesome character that only true sourdough can deliver. Folded generously into the dough are tender pieces of premium biltong, spicy jalapeños, and rich melting cheese. As the loaf bakes, the cheese melts into pockets throughout
the bread, the biltong releases its savoury depth, and the jalapeños add a gentle heat that brings everything to life. The result is a rustic 1 kg artisan loaf with a crisp golden crust and a soft, flavour-packed interior — every slice delivering smoky, spicy, cheesy goodness.
